We provide modern technical solutions to collect, transport and treat water in the commercial, municipal and utility markets in New Jersey, New York, and surrounding areas. Your Responsibilities as Aftermarket Sales & Service Representative:

·         Promote our company through maintaining and building close relationships with end users, contractors, suppliers and engineers within the municipal water and wastewater markets.  These relationships should lead to profitable opportunities for the company.

·         Call on end users and operators in the assigned territory with the objective of getting the equipment we represent supported and sold.  We would anticipate your efforts would include joint sales calls with supplier representatives, lunch and learn sessions and other educational tools to demonstrate the features and benefits of the products we represent.

·         Call on water and wastewater treatment plants, owners, and operators of collections system in order to develop an understanding of the processes and equipment they use at these locations.  This will result in cultivating business opportunities, and influencing the decision makers in the territory during replacement and upgrade projects along with promoting our service department and rental businesses.

·         Act as a liaison between our suppliers, internal company departments and the company in order to facilitate resolution to problems as they occur with minimal impact on the business while ensuring customer satisfaction.

·         Work closely within the company, across the departments.  The objective is to utilize the support groups (engineering, service, project management, etc.), so the aftermarket sales & service representative can remain focused on finding new opportunities and moving existing opportunities to close.

·         Learn about the products we represent, the industries we work in, and the organizations in the territory through self-study, training at our facility and manufacturer’s training.  Local travel (within New Jersey) is expected daily, some extended travel to special events is expected annually.

·         Maintain a positive and constant presence in the organizations that the support the industry (New Jersey Water Environmental Association, American Water Works Association, etc.) and eventually volunteer to present on topics at their educational sessions.

·         Develop relationships with the contractors who install and often purchase the equipment we represent.

·         Work closely with PSI Process Sales Team on joint efforts, such as tradeshows or sales initiatives.

Qualifications:

·          Previous experience with pumps & controls a plus

·          Excellent verbal and written communications skills

·          Self-starter and ability to follow procedures

·          Strong problem-solving skills

·          Strong organizational and time management abilities

·          Able to work productively as part of a team

·          Clean NJ Driver’s License a Must
